Pakman – Palletiser or Packman management system
ICS have recently completed the upgrade of an obsolete ‘MS DOS’ PC palletiser management system. The replacement ‘Pakman’ palletiser management system was to be created using modern ‘SCADA’ application products. With little or no existing supporting data available ICS created from scratch a replicate systems monitor, modify 5 producing palletisers together with the associated pallet delivery and despatch system. Data would be tracked and traced on every pallet in every station. Batch control of specific order could be controlled from ‘Pakman’ allowing the Palletiser to empty out automatically after a complete order and wait to received new instructions.
Pakman allows 999 pallet formats to be created and sent to each palletiser.
Although the current number of Albatross systems is declining in the world Pakman is definitely a force to be reckoned with.
